Youth participate in Sunday School classes 10:00-10:45am

The nursery at Mount Carmel is an engaging and safe place where your children can experience God’s love for them. Nursery Team members are trained and have undergone background checks. We want all our nursery children to know that God made them and loves them, and that Jesus wants to be their friend forever!

Sunday Nights

Children & Youth


Discipleship, Fellowship, and Fun for children (grades 1-5) and youth (grades 6-12)

The Hand Bell Choir meets for practice at 6:00pm.

Wednesday Nights

Join us every Wednesday night for dinner and fellowship

Meal: 6:00pm $4 per person, $3 for youth, $2 for children

but your first meal is on us!

*A church conference follows dinner the fourth Wednesday of the month*


Programs for all ages after dinner including:


Sanctuary Choir

Those belonging to the choir that performs during the traditional Sunday service meet for practice 7:30-9:00pm.


6:30-7:30 pm in the Youth Room (2nd floor of Sanctuary)

1st-5th Graders

Young Musicians Choir

6:30-7:05pm in the Children’s Music Room (2nd floor of Sanctuary)

Their weekly practices prepare them for periodic Sunday presentations

Cooperative Baptist Student Fellowship (CBSF)

Mount Carmel volunteers prepare a meal for CBSF students at UNC once a month.

A group of retired and semi-retired individuals that meets monthly.

Gateway Community Bible Study for Women

A community wide women's bible study hosted at Mount Carmel on Tuesday evenings 6:45pm-8:15pm.

Women's Bible Study

This group meets Tuesday mornings at the Foster home for study.

Men’s Breakfast

Contact: Kevin Klingel

This group meets Tuesdays at 6:15am to recap the previous Sunday’s scripture and sermon.

Carolina Meadows

One Tuesday a month a minister from Mount Carmel leads a worship service at Carolina Meadows.
