The Orange Prison in Hillsborough houses about 180 inmates. We have worked with the inmates for the last twenty-five years, making a modest financial contribution to support the Chaplain. In addition, we visit with the inmates every Tuesday night, donate hygiene items (soap, toothpaste, shampoo), collect clothing for the men when they work outside the prison, and conduct a religious service with them twice a year. During the holiday season we buy toys for the prisoners' children, sell pecans to support the Chaplain, and help with a Christmas Party for the inmates. We also try to assist with housing and employment when the inmates are released. Contact: Dick Richardson.
