Date: Saturday,  June 6, 2026

Time: 8:30am-2:30pm, with 15 min before or after to set up and clean up (last appt at 1:30)

Location: Mount Carmel Baptist Church

Goal: Show the community God’s love and healing through caring for the health needs (physical, dental, mental health); all free services & resources.

 

Volunteer needs:

• Dental volunteers (dentists, dental hygienists, dental assistants): perform clinical dental services and provide oral hygiene instruction.

• Medical volunteers (doctors, nurses, physician's assistants, etc.): assist patients at check in by doing blood pressure and diabetes screenings and provide oral hygiene instruction.

• Mental health volunteers: work with the MCBC mental health ministry to pass out mental health information / resources.

• Translators: translate during a dental visit for individuals that speak Spanish.

• Check in/ check out volunteers: may help out with a variety of tasks like helping hand out check-in paperwork and handing out dental goodie bags at check-out.

• Patient support volunteers: may help out with a variety of tasks like talking and praying with patients, watching children while the adult is getting dental care, and helping patients walk to the rooms where the dental work takes place.

 

Note: While shifts are split into half days, you can sign up for more than one shift.
