Youth @ Mt Carmel

Grace and peace!  Thank you for finding your way to the MCBC Youth webpage.  Here you will find weekly updates and important information for our youth.

This Week:

Wednesday Night

On Wednesday nights, we meet in the fellowship hall at 6pm for supper ($4 a plate) and then head upstairs for youth group around 6:30pm until 7:30pm, and then the youth praise team practices from 7:30pm-8pm.
On Wednesday nights, our youth group focus is built around discussion and games.

Youth at the Haas's

SUNDAY 9/25 @ 5-6:30PM

The Haas family will be hosting the youth next week! We will meet for supper, games, and discussion.  Pick up and drop off will happen at their house and the address will come via email and text.

Sunday Worship

We have two worship services, a contemporary service at 9am that meets in the fellowship hall and a traditional service that meets at 11am in the sanctuary.  Both are amazing opportunities to gather as a church and worship God.  In the 9am, the youth sit together!

Sunday School

SUNDAY 9/25 @ 10AM

Our Youth Sunday School class meets at 10am in the Youth Cafe.  We are studying a book called Way To Live, which is all about how the normal activities of life (like work, play, rest, etc) can help us grow closer to God.

Coming Up:

Youth Praise at MCBC and Mount Gilead

On October 9th, the youth praise team will participate in leading worship at both MCBC and Mount Gilead.  In the 9am service at MCBC we will lead a song with the Children’s Choir, and then we will head to Mount Gilead to set up and be ready to play during their 11am worship service.  It’s going to be a super exciting and music filled morning!

MCBC 24 Hours of Prayer

SUNDAY 10/15 @ 4-4:30PM

When we return from the State Fair, youth and parents are invited to walk with us to the ball field where we will pray together for the space on which the church plans to build our new pavilion as part of the Open Doors Campaign.  We will play just a small part as the whole church is signing up for times to come and pray throughout the day.
